Hi! My name is Nathalie and I am a 18 year old painter from the Netherlands. I started painting about 6 years ago, right after I inherited my grandmothers painting supplies (she was an incredible artist), and quickly fell in love with making art. Now I don’t see myself doing anything other than creating, it has truly become one of my biggest passions, even though I just do it as a hobby. I hope I’ll never stop painting, for I am excited to see how far I can come.

This oil-on-canvas series explores the feeling of escaping reality through books. Although this series is very personal to me, I found that it has a meaning to others as well. Everyone needs to escape every once in a while right?

Absolutely obsessed!

I came across this painting on TikTok but wanted a print version for my own piece of Basgiath. Nat kept me updated with the whole process. She was so friendly and keep in touch via email. The print came super quickly and so well wrapped with such a personalised touch with a note from her. The print is such great quality and I was able to get it framed and on the wall. I love it. It’s stunning and a little piece of my bookworld on the wall! 🖤
